Sign is faster than ever – give it a try! Version 2.3.6 includes some exciting changes, including optimizing the speed to open the app and an option to launch Sign even if other applications are already open. We’ve also updated the settings and tweaked the graphics to make them easier to read on all wallpapers. Finally, we’ve fixed some reported bugs concerning the contact database, so if you’ve had issues in the past with any of your assigned gestures getting mixed up, hopefully this version will fix those problems. If not, give us a heads up so we can fix the problem for you.
Two quick notes:
If you are upgrading, it may take several seconds for Sign to open the first time after the installation as it saves your current gestures so they are transferred correctly during the update process. This is a one time thing and Sign will open much faster after that.
Second, to further optimize Sign’s speed and performance, once you open the app go to Settings and check the “Quick Startup” box. This will make Sign available in your notification bar so it can be accessed at any time, even when you have other applications open. This setting also ensures that Sign opens as quickly as possible, every time. Although this feature is a background process, it has been designed to prevent any negative impacts on your phone’s battery life or performance and our testing has confirmed no impact on performance or battery life at all.
Currently Sign v2.3.6 is available in the Android Market and will be available very shortly in the Amazon Appstore. Also, we’re updating the Lite version and should have that updated in both the Android Market and Amazon Appstore very soon.
Enjoy – we’d love to get your comments on the new features and suggestions for the future.
Cheers!
